קְבוּרָה

קְבוּרָהf. (b. h.; קָבַר) burial. M. Kat. 28a (ref. to Num. 20:1) סמוך למיּתה ק׳ immediately after death, burial is mentioned (without mentioning the exhibition of the body in an open place prior to burial). Snh.46b (ref. to Deut. 21:23) מכאן רמז לק׳וכ׳ here is a hint in the Torah that burying the dead is a religious duty. Ib. ק׳ משום בזיונא, v. בִּזְיוֹנָא.
